Donations

Our challenge in the 2007-08 season just past was to raise $55,000 by June 30, and earn a $15,000 challenge grant that matched new and increased gifts $1 for $1. We achieved both goals, thanks to the incredible support of many individual donors, and many donors who gave a second or third time to help us make goal. We can’t thank you enough for your support and confidence in us!

We must raise $65,000 for the 2008-09 season and in anticipation of our 25th Anniversary season and a gala concert event in 2009-10. So, this season, we invite our friends to sponsor some very special activities:

  • Guest Artist fees for The Whole Noyse Early Music wind band ensemble.
  • Help underwrite the annual New Voices Program which provides recognition for winning compositions from Young Composers under the age of 30.
  • Help underwrite our Composer-in-Residence program and provide financial support for composer commissions.
  • Underwrite your favorite Singer: Our wonderful, talented singers both need and deserve enough salary to offset their travel costs and put a bit of money in their pockets. Won’t you consider sponsoring a singer for a concert set or the season?
  • Help underwrite the 25th Anniversary Gala: We are planning an exciting musical gala event with a special guest artist, and in a non-church venue. This is far more costly than our typical concerts and requires advance funding: We need your help; we seek folks interested in helping plan the event as well as financial support. Please let us know if you would like to get involved!

Recruit friends and family and partner to support your favorite Choral Artists activity or singer together! You will be helping to assure the continued vitality of choral music in the Bay Area and beyond--and getting recognition for it.

San Francisco Choral Artists is the voice of a family of listeners, composers, and singers — all of whom celebrate and nurture the unique magic of music performed by a fine chamber choir. Won’t you join our choral family and help guarantee the vitality of choral music? Your financial support, at whatever level you can manage, WILL be noticed and make a difference.

Donations are accepted via credit card through PayPal, or via your check mailed to San Francisco Choral Artists. For donations of stock or property, or to make a planned gift such as a bequest, please contact us at 415-979-5779. Our non-profit IRS Tax Identification Number is 94-2936962.
